Average Enlistments Maintained In North
Average enlistments in Northland for the reinforcements for the Second Expeditionary Force were again maintained yesterday v'hen three recruits came forward. The recruits were: C. W. Walker (Whangarei), J. H. Gardiner (Whangarei), and D. E. Crossley (Hikurangi). Only one registration for the Maori Battalion was received at Whangarei Army headquarters, v the recruit being H. Kake (Whan gar ei)X No recruits, either pakeha or Maori, offered for service at Whangarei Army Headquarters today.
