Quotations and sple prices on the Auckland Stock Exchange today are about level. lii only one transaction out of four at the morning call did the figures show an advance. The tone of the market is quiet. Una Hills, at 1/7, are 3d higher than the last sale earlier in the month, but Woohvorths (N.Z.) are 6d cheaper at 18/6. Government securities are as firm .as ever, a 1949-52 4 per cent, selling at the late rate of £lO5 15/-. Sales completed at the noon call today were: Bonds, 15/2/43-46, 4 per cent., £lO3/5/-; stocks. 15/3/40-43. 4 per cent., £lOl/15/-.
