Junior Emergency Corps Elects Officers

The Junior Emergency Corps W.D.W.E.C., held a general meeting at the St. John Ambulance Hall on Wednesday evening, when the following officers were elected: Fresident, Mrs Beadle; vice-presi-dents, Misses Kim M.ay and Hazel Carmichael: joint secretaries and treasurers, Misses Zita McCluskey and Marjorie Steedman. Miss Cookson gave ,a lecture on the care of a pneumonia patient with a practical demonstration of the management of the bed and pillows. This was followed by a lecture on bedmaking by Mrs J. H. Nicholis and her students had practice with a patient in the bed. The members of the corps discussed their future plans and made arrangements for a mah jongg party in the near future.
