Quality store sheep showed a definite improvement in price in some cases, and store cattle met a slightly better demand. Fat cattle—Heifers, tops, £9 10/ to £lO 17/6; medium, £7 14/ to £8 10/; cows, £7 to £9 12/; plain and light, £4 17/ to £5 18,; runners, £4 15/ to £5 15/; heavy bullocks, £ll 10/ to £l2 13/: medium. £lO 5/ to £lO 17/. Store cattle. Forward bullocks, medium, £7 8/ to £8 13/; steers, £5 15/ to £6 5/; 20-months. £3 19/; light mixed cows. £2 10/. Store sheep.—Forward and goodconditioned wethers, 21/7 to 22/3; woolly ewe lambs, good order, 22/ to 22/5; woolly wether lambs, tops, 17/ to 17/8; medium, 13/ to 16/; shorn, 12/6 to 16/7; empty forward ewes, 13/; two-tooth ewes, running with ram, 23/3.
