Grand Patriotic Dance
Once again the patriotic dance, held in the Town Hall on Saturday evening last was a great success. The attendance was good, and everyone enjoyed the music played by Ces Wright and his orchestra. Mr Cook acted as M.C. Winners of the Monte Carlo were Miss Jennie McKinley and Mr S. Hutton.

Purves, deep purple with white fur coat; Betty Brown, white tulle with yellow and blue trimmings; Enid Hawkin,s, pale green voile and white fur cape; Peggy Wrack, pink flowered organza; Jean Cutforth, blue striped crepe; S. Maxwell, blue satin, silver trimmings; J. Taylor, navy Taffeta; J. Howie, light- green linen; J. Kilbie, navy chiffon, white lace trimmings; Rose Holmes, sea green georgette; J. L. Finlayson, floral crepe; Muriel Rae, floral pink organdie; M. Ferrall, rosa pink taffeta with white fur coatee; L. McKinley, cyclamen taffeta; E. Dysart, green brocade, mauve flower to match, shoes and stockings to tone; J. McKinley, ' cyclamen taffeta; Frances Cunningham floral chiffon, ermine cape, tartan trimmings; D. J. C. Smith, sky blue angel skin, with fur trimmings; J. Wilson, figured linen bow striped silk; Gwen Povey, floral silk; N. Noble, flowered organdie over satin; Nadia Norine, navy and white trimming; J.
