Don’t Waste Petrol

The need for economy in the use of petrol throughout the motor transport industi'y is stressed in a joint statement issued yesterday by Mr. J. H. Kirkwood, president of the New Zealand Carriers’ Federation, and Mi*. J. B. Cullen, presideixt of the New Zealand Road Transport Alliance. They state that they are convinced that it is essential in the interests of the Empii’c that the industry should co-operate 100 per cent, with the Governments, both of New Zealand and Great Britain, in the conservation of petrol as a matter of war emergency.
