Waimate North Show Dance
The Waimate Hal] was a gay scene on Friday night when another Show dance was held.
A large number of people attended and many novelty dances were carried out.
A delightful supper was served. Among the ladies present were;— Misses W. Watson. navy floral taffeta; L. Young; D. Ha'ul, green ensemble; E. Chapman, black with pink blouse; E. Wood, brown, with green accessories; J. Kingston, cream embossed deque; J. Mclntosh, maroon taffeta with lace coatee; C: Fenton, powder blue taffeta; K. McCready, petunia blue crppe with pink coatee; D. Stokes, navy and cyclamen crepe; A. Dawson, blue net over satin; P. Parkinson, green satin; A. Pausma, pink floral; A. Stokes, black velvet and net; M. Hope-Lewis, powder blue; C. Bower, black taffeta; S. Lemon, oasis blue geprgette; I. Rowsell, blue and white frock; M. Cross, satin and crepe; H. Young, flame taffeta; G. Broad, pink pin spot net over taffeta; J. Clark, blue taffeta; E. Whank,- flame tinsel cloque; L. Jackson, pink romaine; G. Cross, green georgette; M. Clark, pink and black satin; C. Sydall, white crepe de chine; N. Yorke, black velvet; J. Johnson, tangerine ninon; L. Kendall, blue seal skin frock; Ida Perry,. cyclamen taffeta with silver trimmings; E. Arden, pink net with white fur cape; N. Mountain, rose pink satin with lavender trimmings; I. Dawson, navy and cyclamen taffeta.
