Albion scored a three point, win over Hikurangi at Hikurangi. the bowling of Penney and Meaney giving the country batsmen trouble in plenty.
In tire first innings Hikurangi was dismissed for 23. Penney taking seven for 10 and Conway two for 12. Albion replied after a shaky start with 121 (Slako 14. Meaney 21, Penney 26, Conway 29), Hughes being the most successful bowler with four for 46. f Hikurangi batsmen again faded to handle the bowling in the second innings and the team was all out for 20.
