School A Passes Kamo B With Four Wickets to Spare
With four wickets to spare School A passed Kamo B’s total of 85 in the Senior B match at Kensington Park and went on to complete the innings with a total of 123.
Kamo batted first, Brookfield and Holt who scored 14 apiece being the only batsmen to make a stand. For school, Walker earned the nice figures of five wickets for 28 while Child took four for 36. Best batsmen for School, were Walker (28 retired), Child (22), and Stevens (21h
Star bowler for Kamo was Murray who maintained an excellent length and hi times had the batsmen completely at sea. His figures of three for 40 were not flattering as he earned a far better average. Kamo's loosely sot field, especially in. the slips, was of value to School although Kamo outshone School in the actual process of leather-hunting.
