Mrs. E. L. Cleary, Of Whangarei
OBITUARY
A life-long resident of Whangarei. Mrs Elizabeth Lavinia Cleary, died at her home in Otangarei Road this morning, at the ago of 74. Mrs Cleary was born at Maunu, a daughter of the late Mr M. W. Armstrong. a pioneer settler, and she spent the whole of her life here. More than 50 years ago she was married in Whangarei to Mr Wilbert Cleary. Mrs Cleary w,as keenly interested in croquet and was a member of the Kensington Croquet Club. She is survived by her husband, three sons, Messrs Frank and Fred Cleary, of Sydney, and Roy Cleary, of Whangarei, .and two daughters, Mrs E. C. Foote, of Auckland, and Mrs G. Roberts, of Westport. There are.three grandchildren.
