Early Closing Of Session Expected
[Special to “Northern Advocate .” 3 WELLINGTON, This Day.
The general feeling in the lobbies is that the present session of Parliament will soon reach its close.
No major legislation has been announced, and it is likely that a good many of the less important Bills which were to have been brought forward will now be dropped. In the circumstances, it is considered that the session may not last until the end of this month.
The Prime Minister, Mr Savage, is to broadcast to the Dominion tonight from his home. It is anticipated that his talk will be principally concerned with the developments of the past few days.
