Hokianga R.S.A. Annual Ball
Held in the Kohukohu Town Hall, the annual ball of the Hpkianga Returned Soldiers’ Association was an outstanding success in spite of adverse weather conditions. Patrons attended from all parts of Hokianga. The hall, which - was prettily and tastefully decorated, was lighted by electricity, donated by Mr L. Keys. Decorations were of red, white and blue streamers overhead, while around the walls were hung the various badges of the units of the Now Zealand forces during the war. j
Excellent music was provided and Mr J. Wark acted as M.C.
A competition for two framed pictures was won by Mr V 7. Holland, of Kohukohu.
