Farewell To Mr. And Mrs. A. E. Foster
Prior to his departure for Kaitaia next week, Mr A. E. Foster, of the Labour Department, was guest of honour, with his wife, at a farewell evening at the home of Mr and Mrs C. P. Collins, King Street, on Tuesday. Mr Foster has been appointed Social Security agent in Kaitaia.
Members of the Labour Department, the Placement Service, ancl many friends attended the function.
During the evening Mr Foster was presented with a clock and Mrs Foster with a beautiful piece of crystal.
Speeches were made by Messrs A. Cullum, R. Buckley and G. Adler, who paid tribute to the highest esteem in which Mr Foster was held by his colleagues. Mr Collins made the presentation ! :o Mr Foster and Miss R. Noble that to Mrs Foster. «
