Duke Of Kent Broadcasts To Australia
(Received 10 a.m.) LONDON, January 26. The Duke of Kent broadcast to Australia at 9 a.m. today for the first time since his appointment as Gov-ernor-General designate.. The Duke said how happy he and his wife are at the prospect of going to live in Australia and playing an active part in the life of the Commonwealth. He extended greetings to the Commonwealth in commemmoration of Australian days.
His Royal Highness said he hoped to >visit all states and meet the worker at his work and the farmer on his farm.
