BIRTHDAY PARTY AT WHANANAKI
The Whananaki Hall was the scene of a delightful surprise party on Sat-
urday night when Mr and Mrs A. Cadman entertained about 50 guests in honour of the l&th birthday of their niece, Miss Thelma Adams. The evening was spent in dancing and games, music being provided by Cunningham’s orchestra, while Mr A. Tilton was MjG. > , ' A Monte Carlo fox trot was. won lay Miss Gwen Dickson and Mr Pat Thornton,' i : ■ Miss Adams, who was the 'recipient of a number of beautiful gifts, thanked Mr and Mrs Cadmah for having made the evening possible.
