Good Horses In Demand At Kamo
Walter Wakelin reports- having held a horse fair at Kamo on Thursday, when fully the advertised number of horses came forward to a fair attendance of buyers. Competition for good class horse was keen throughout, but old and inferior sorts were dull of sale. ' Heavy draughts made from £27 to £29/5/-; medium draughts, £23 to £25; light harness horses, £l6/10/- to £22; good hacks, £6/10/- to £9; other hacks, £3' to £5; unbroken two-year geldings, £lB.
