AN-AMERICAN AIRWAYS REPORTED TODAY THAT IT HAS NOT HEARD FROM THE HAWAII CLIPPER FOR MORE THAN FIVE HOURS, AND THE FLYING BOAT IS SAID TO BE OVERDUE AT » MANILA, PHILIPPINE ISLANDS. It is understood that the United States Army authorities at Manila have ordered a transport to proceed at full speed to the Clipper’s last given position. It is stated by Pan-American Airways that sixteen person’s are aboard the Clipper, comprising six passengers and a crew of ten.
