Zoning For Freezing Works?
‘‘That the union urge upon the Government the necessity, for zoning all districts for the freezing industry in the same way as for the dairying industry,” was a remit from the Kawakawa branch, discussed at the meeting of the Bay of Islands SubProvincial \ branch of the Farmers’ Union. Mr. Tillson .in moving the remit, said the intention was to prevent stock going out of the district to Auckland works. The motion was altered so as to make it apply to stock killed for export only, and was carried.
