Cochrane— Morrison
A pretty wedding was solemnised at the Presbyterian Church on July 16, when the Margaret Duke, third daughter of Mr and Mrs G. S. B. Morrison, was married to Edgar Hamilton, eldest son of Mr A. H. Cochrane, of Orini, and the late Mrs Cochr.ane. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, wore a lovely gown of deep magnolia satin fitted to the figure and falling into a train on which was embroidered a sheath of lilies. Her tulle veil was worn under a coronet of orange blossoms and she carried a bouquet of pink lilies and maidenhair fern. In attendance as bridesmaids were Misses Molly and Doris Morrison, sisters of the bride, who wore frocks of pale pink lace. Their head-dresses consisted of a bandeau of flowers over which was arranged a circular veil of pastel tulle. The little flower girls, Joan Parsons and Margaret Morrison, nieces of the bride, were frocked alike in pale green georgette with green velvet capes and muffs. Mr W. Bradley acted as best man and Mr R. Morrison .as groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Marble Bar, where Mrs Morrison received her guests wearing a frock oL black s'neer georgette with embossed velvet sleeves, Her bouquet comprised pink shaded flowers. The couple left by car for the south, the bride travelling in a brown tailored costume with fur and brown accessories.
