Fire Brigades’ Dispute
[Per Press Association. Copyright .] WELLINGTON, This Day. No agreement was reached in the New Zealand Fire Brigades dispute, which yesterday was referred from the Conciliation Council to the Arbitration ■Court. Agreement was reached in a number of minor points, but not in regard to hours and wages, part-time workers, the classification of firemen, or lighting and hiring allowances. Incidentally, the Court will have to decide a claim for free provision of radios sets and swimming pools, and superannuation on a contributory basis.
