Dargaville Railway Construction
[Special to “Northern Advocate .”l WELLINGTON, This Day. Under the heading of railway construction in the Public Works Estimates, released today, there is provision for an estimated expenditure of £65,000 on the Dargaville branch line. Last year, of the £20,000 voted, £13,811 was expended. The total cost of the work when authorised was £441,000, and up to March 31 last the expenditure had been £463,377. It is estimated that £192,189 is required to complete the work.
