Motorists Injured
[Special to ‘‘Northern, Advocate. .] HAMILTON. This Day. When a car in which he was travelling to the Matamata races capsized on the Great South Road near Ohinewai. shortly before noon on Saturday, and rolled into a creek, a fracture 'or tho spine was suffered by Mr Gerald L. Stead, aged 55, of Auckland, a former well-known racing owner and starter. Another occupant of the car, Mr P. Jackson, suffered a fractured collarbone. The car was extensively damaged.
