The North Auckland Farmers’ Coop., Limited, reports holding a successful sale at Ohaeawai yesterday on account of Mr Cecil Dixon. The attendance was good, and the weather perfect. Competition was fairly brisk throughout. The cows came forward in wonderful condition, butterfat records being given at the sale. Unfortunately, Mr Dixon was unable to supply calving dates. Good Jersey cows made from £9 to £l2/15/-; medium, £7/15/ to 8/17/6; good Shorthorn cows, close to pi’ofit, £l2 to £ls/15/-; othei’s, £7/10/- to £ll/15/-; best dairy heifers, £7 to £7/12/6; smaller and backward, £6/15/- to £7; draught horses, £3l to £35. Sundries and implements sold particularly well.
