Many Will Attend W.I. Conference
A large number of Northland delegates are to attend the biennial general meeting of the Federation of Women’s Institutes, which is to be opened by the Minister of Educaiion, Hon. P. Fraser, at the Wellington Town Hall on July 27. In all about SCO delegates are expected to be present, and with non-official visitors, the total number present may exced 1200. Included among the Northern representatives will be: Mrs Ross (president of the Whangarei Federation), Msr H. E. Johnson (vice-president), Mrs Hirtzel (Whangarei), Mrs A. Clarke (Whareora), Mrs J. Morrison (Matapouri), Mrs Carnavon (Mangapai), and Mrs Dorehill (Mauhu). The delegates leave Whangarei on Monday's express, intending to catch the Limited at Auckland.
