Taipuha
A very successful meeting of the Taipuha Women’s Institute was held at the residence of Mrs Florance. The roll call. “Some useful recipes,” brought forth many easy and useful ones, each member paying a penny for each recipe they wanted and funds going towards the institute. The competition, a memory test, was an-anged by Mrs Finlayson, the winners being Mrs F. Keay first, with Mrs H. McCarroll second. Afternoon tea was served. Mrs Florance and Mrs I. Keay acting as hostesses.
