Parua Bay
The Parua Bay Women's Institute heid its monthly meeting recently, when Mrs Ross presided over a good attendance. Miss Margaret Robinson, who. with Miss Lee. attended the Girls’ Educational Week in Auckland, gave an interesting report. Mrs Ross and Mrs Mcßae brought back the exhibits from the Winter Show, this institute carrying oil' first prize for toys, i A beautiful vase was presented to | the institute by Mrs Mallabond. and jwas much appreciated by all the mcmibers. The roll call. “Six things I’d I take on a desert island." brought in I j seme extremely funny answers and j proved very entertaining, j The institute donated £1 to the jTikipunga Orphanage Fund. The ! hostesses. Mrs Harnett and Mrs Lamb, 1 ! served a dainty afternoon tea. i
