Completes Historic Trip
(Received 12.30 p.m. MONTREAL, July 21. The Mercury landed at Montreal at 11.19 a.m. today. The Mercury had reported at 9.20 that it was nearing Quebec City and might stop there, but did not give an explanation for a possible unscheduled halt. It was believed, however, that she might be running short of fuel, because of not refuelling at Newfoundland. The machine, however, passed over Quebec City at 10.25, and headed for Montreal. Favourable tail winds made a landing unnecessary.
