World’s Wheat Situation
LONDON, July 15. The United States Ambassador. Mr J. Pi Kennedy, after presiding at the International Wheat Advisory Committee. said: "The wheat position is most critical owing to over-produc-tion. I am requesting the 60 nations represented to give our report their earnest consideration.” The Minister of Agriculture, Mr W. F. Morrison, in the House of Commons, announced that Lord Harlech (formerly Mr Ormsby-Gore), has accepted the chairmanship of the Wheat Commission.
