Nudism Becoming The Rage In N.Z. Cities
[Special to Northern Advocate ”l AUCKLAND, This Day. \TUDIST COLONIES HAVE BECOME APPARENTLY THE RAGE IN NEW ZEALAND CITIES. FOLLOWING THE FORMATION OF A “SUN GROUP” IN AUCKLAND. A MOVEMENT IS AFOOT TO ASSEMBLE NAT URESTS LN WELLINGTON. An advertisement lias appeared calling on interested people to communicate with the organiser. The club will be open to members of both sexes, and will encourage communal sun-bathing and outdoor exercise clothed in nothing but the simple uniform worn by the naturisls. The organiser stated that he himself had previously been a member of a small group which had indulged in nudism at a lake resort near Hawera. They had to desist, however, when their sanctuary became known to a curious public. A similar movement, he said, was afoot in Christchurch.
