Small Yardings At Broadwood Paparoa
Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report holding its usual monthly stock sales at Paparoa and Broadwood. At Paparoa only a small yarding came forward, and the following prices were obtained: Dairy cows, in milk, £3 10/ to £4 5/ heifei’s, £3 10/ to £4 10/; light fat cows, £4 10/ to £5; boner cows, £!. 15/ to £2 12/; boner bulls, to £4 15/. The yarding was similarly small at Broadwood where light beef cows made from £4 to £5 10/; boner cows, £2 5/ to £3; boner bulls, £5. Mixed aged ewes brought to 24/9. Wethers did not x’each vendors’ expectations.
