ANGLO-FRENCH SATISFACTION t ßritish Official Wireless.l (Received 2 p.m.) RUGBY, January 5. The French Foreign. Minister, M. Delbos, has published in Paris the message from the British Foreign Secretary thanking him for the statement made by him on Saturday regarding the British and Italian declaration on the Mediterranean, and in which Mr. Eden said: “It is a matter of considerable satisfaction to know that the agreement was well received by the French Government, with which the British Government is in such very close relation. I am certain the agreement will contribute, as is its object, to the maintenance of peace in a part of the world where France is, in like manner, interested.”
