TO UPHOLD LEAGUE BELGIUM TO INCREASE ARMAMENTS. AN UNSETTLED WORLD. (Received 2.39 p.m.) BRUSSELS. February 4. In the Senate, the Prime Minister. Dr Van Zeeland, announced the Government’s intention to increase ar'maments in view of the unsettled world situation. Belgium’s attitude, Dr Van Zeeland said, remained unchanged, but she must be strong to uphold the League of Nations’ covenant.
