THE HAY HARVEST. Harvesting the hay crop is proceeding on all sides, and the weather is now favourable to the operations. Good crops are being stacked. The earlier hay was harvested under considerable difficulty, owing tcj the uncertain weather conditions. , Ensilage is also becoming more generally made. Pastures are now in good order, and stock generally looking well. Beaches Popular.
With the holiday season, the camping exodus has again, occurred, and the Pahi, Tinopai, Mangawai and Waipu beaches are proving very popular resorts.
