MISSING CAMPER
STILL NO TRACE. SIX DAYS OVERDUE. : [Per Press Association. — Copyright .j CARTERTON, This: Day. Over 20 searchers are scouring the region of the Waiohine Gorge in an endeavour to find a missing. camper, Mr Harold Goodman, of Grey town, who set out on Christmas Eve alone on a three weeks’ holiday in the Tararua Ranges.' - Mr Goodman is now six days overdue, and in spite of a strenuous and arduous search over a wide area the efforts to find him have been fruitless.
Judging by appearances, the conditions are likely to be difficult, as the hills are shrouded low by hanging clouds, and heavy rains have fallen in places on the hills, although none has fallen in the towns of the Waira*rana.
