VAUDEVILLE REVUE At the Town Hall on Monday (New Year’s Eve) Lester Sinclair will present his Vaudeville Revue Company in a merry musical pot pourri entitled “Samples.” A cast of seventeen professionals appear in the production, and patrons are assured of a first-class “Sample” of music, mirth and melody. Mr. Sinclair has been very lucky in his choice of artists, among whom will be Martyn Douglas, boy soprano, whose voice has the tone and clarity of a bell. Andrew Milton, veteran character actor, will make his fh’st appearance in Whangarei. This artist has a reputation in New Zealand and ovex’seas as a pei’fect exponent of the works of the immortal Dickens. Other artists appearing in “Samples" will be found on page 11. Children’s Matinees. Parents and guardians will be pleased to note that Mr. Sinclair has arranged two special matinees, one on each day of the season, when the programme will be varied from the night porfoi’mances so as to include a number of items especially suited to the younger folk.
