ONERAHI
INFLUX OF VISITORS. Onerahi this year has welcomed almost a record in holiday visitors. Every available bungalow, room and house has been taken. Amongst visitors are; Mrs S. Carter, of Whangarei, arrived last week with Mrs D. Miller, of Mangapai, and has taken a house on the beach.
Miss McDonald, from Waipu, is the guest of Mr and Mrs Gemmell and will remain on holiday for the summer.
Mrs E. Robinson, from Whangarei Heads, arrived on Saturday, as the guest of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr and Mrs Robinson, Jun. Mrs and Mrs Greeve, with their family, arrived on Friday and are in temporary residence on the foreshore.
Miss K. Carter, from Westport, is a Christmas guest of her sister and brother-in-law, Mrs and Mr J, de Stigter. After a three months’ recuperative visit, spent with relatives at Netherton, Mrs J. Ciatcheon returned home on Saturday. Mr and Mrs Gunn and family came down from Whangarei on Saturday, on holiday bent and are in domicile in their foreshore bungalow. Mrs McLennan arrived from Thames, on Saturday. She is accompanied by her two sons, and is the guest of her sister and brother-in-law, Mrs and Mr A. S. Fagan.
Mr R. Cleary arrived home last week and will be the guest, for the holidays of his parents, Mr and Mrs R. Cleary, Sen. Miss A. Burch also arrived last week for the holidays, and is staying with her parents, Mr and Mrs W. D. Burch.
Mr J. M. Johnson, of Whangarel, accompanied by his daughter, spent a very jolly four days’ visit last week, as the guest of his sister and brother-in-law, Mrs and Mr Maddeley. Both left for home again on Saturday.
