Mehzies. Defence, —Mr R. A. Parkhill. Interior.—Mr T. Patterson. Trade and Customs.—Mr T. White/ Vice-President of the Executive Council and Minister of Health and Repatriation.—Mr W. M. Hughes. Postmaster-General and Minister inControl of Developments.—Mr A; J. McLachlan. Minister without portfolio directing trade treaties.—Sir Henry Gullett. . Assistant Treasurer.—Mr R. Casey, , Assistant Minister of Commerce and Minister without portfolio.—Mr T. C. Brennan. Assistant Minister of War Service, Homes and Repatriation without portfolio.—Mr H. V. Thorby. Assistant Postmaster-General ’ .ip House of Representatives.—Mr J. A. J. Hunter. The Prime Minister said that Mr P.H. Stewart, formerly Minister of Commerce, had declined a position in the Ministry, but had offered to associate himself with the Government employment policy. The Country Party has received two portfolios, those of Commerce and the Interior. The party’? representative on the new Cabinet are: Dr. Earle Page (New South Wales), and Messrs T. Paterson (Victoria), J. A. J. Hunter ‘ (Queensland) and H. V. Thorby (New South Wales).
