BROADWOOD
ST. MARK’S CLUB. Last Wednesday evening, a successful social and dance was held in the A. & P. Hall by members of the Broadwood St. Mark’s Glee Club. Music was supplied by Mesdames K. C. and W. Newman, the Misses W. and H. Wiggins, Miss Hick, Mrs J. Dotchin, and Mr T. Hollows. Jazz effects were played by Mr T. Salvair. Those present included the following:—Mesdames K. Newman, president of the club; C. Newman, W. Newman, Copeland, Mansbridge, F. Holland, J. Dotchin, P. Hawkins, C. Hawkins, E. Carmen, J. McKenzie, Craig, C. Harris, I Martin, Lowes, Downie, Hyde, Hawke, J. Enright, Russell, Dodds, C. Enright, C. Matheson; and Misses P. Wilson, R. Craig, Newton, O. Holland, I. Dodds, L. HicKs, E. Hawkins, M. Newman, J. Newman, V. Newman, E. Carmen, D. Mansbridge. A. Gregory, D. Hyde, M. Mcllraith. J. Hick, H. Wiggins, W. Wiggins, D. Fergusson. Visitors from Kohukohu included Mr and Mrs Marshall and Miss Dugmore. The mannequin parade presented by the men was very humorously performed, and was well received.
