DOUBLE TRAGEDY
FARMER AND WIFE DEAD WOMAN’S HEAD SHATTERED SOX A WITNESS (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received 0 a.in.) SYDNEY, May 2. A shooting tragedy occurred on a dairy farm in the Miami district, in the vicinity of Newcastle. Emanuel Pool, aged 52, and his wife, •Id, are dead. The woman is alleged to have been killed first. The (op of her head was blown ofT. The husband is reported to have coinmined suicide with a shotgun. A son is said In have witnessed his father’s act from a milking shed. Foot ’s family consisted of nine. It is understood he had been in bad health.
