PROTECTION UNION. CONFERENCE IN LONDON. ENVOYS OF HO NATIONS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received 0 a,m.) RUGBY, May 1. Nearly dO nations were represented at a preliminary mooting in London of the conference of the International Union for the Protection of Industrial Property. The plenary session of the conference will be held in the Locarno Room, Foreign Othce. The last conference of the kind was held In lOL’d. This is the first occasion on which the union has met in London. The subjects to be discussed are important, but highly technical. They relate to the protection of patent rights, designs, trade marks, and other kindred matters coming within the scope of the union. Fir Frederick Leith-Ross heads the British delegation.
