LIVESTOCK SALES
PRICES EASIER. The North Auckland Farmers’ Cooperative, Ltd., report that at the Heroldno, Knit ala and Rroadwood livestock sales hold recently the atj tendance was largo at each sale, and though nearly everything was sold prices showed a decline on those ruling at late sales. Following is the range of prices:— Prime fat steers, £4 1;"/ to .Co; 4year steers, £.‘l Id/ to £4; 21-year-old steers, £2 Id/ to £3 d/;' IS months steers, £2 to £2 10/; weaer steers, £1 d/ to £1 10/; prime fat cows, £2 10/ to £■'!; light fat cows, £1 Id/ to £2 d/; boner cows, 12/6 to £1 d/ according to weight. Boner bulls were yarded in large numbers, and sold at prices equal to those ruling at the last ’ tnonthly sales. Jersey heifers, IS months, in calf, made £1 Id/ to £2 ; d/; woancr Jersey heifers, Id/ to £l. i Breeding ewes made !>/ to 11/S; and store lambs, 8/6 to 11/.
