At a mooting of the Dunedin City Council last evening Mr Silvcrstone, one of the Labour members, supported by the two other Labour members, moved that tlio 10 per cent, cut in salaries and wages imposed in 10.12 be restored, from September 1. The matter was discussed in committee and was referred to the Finance Committee for a report.
