OBITUARY
CHIEFTAIN’S DAUGHTER MRS. W. RUDOLPH The funeral of the late Mrs. W. Rudolph took place at Pakotai to-day. Deceased was a daughter of Wharepapa, chief of the Ngatihorohoro, who married an Englishwoman. Her eldest sister, Mrs. Rika Hoke, died two years ago. Mrs. Rudolph, who was about seventy years of age, married one of the earliest settlers in the Mangakahia Valley. Her husband predeceased her some twenty years ago. She leaves a family of three sons and one daughter.
