With the Japanese advance on .Dolon Nor (Mongolia), the situation oast of Charhar is reported to be more critical. Japanese troops are advancing upon Taliangtojyow, between Dolon Nor and Kuyuan, where Shansi forces are reported to be erecting defences.

It is believed the invaders intend pressing towards Kalgan, with the capture of Charhar as part of the Japanese scheme.
