WELLINGTON, This Day,

When a train and a motor ear collided at the Davis Street crossing last evening, the occupants of the car, Mr and Mrs Archibald Walker, of Eastbourne, were injured, and were' taken to hospital. Mr Walker received an injury to the ribs, scalp wounds and shock. Mrs Walker received injuries to the ribs and back and also suffered shock.

The car was carried for three chains. The occupants were etill in the car when the train stopped. The car was wrecked.
