AUCKLAND, This Day,
It is likely that an early start Avill be,made by the commission, to be sent up in accordance Avith the Ottawa agreement, to inquire into matters connected Avith the Ncav Zealand tariff. It, is practically certain that the commission AA'ill consist of throe persons, and the approval of Cabinet to the personnel is aAvaited. The chief duty of the commission Avill be to complete the investigation of the tariff, the object being to place the British manufacturer on the same basis as the Ncav Zealand inaniifactur-
