DISCOVERY IT TRAGEDY,
(Received noon.) LONDON, May 2
• Commander W. M. Carey, captain of the Discovery It, was lost overboard in calm weather oh Ushant, after an illness.
The Discovery IT, will arrive tomorrow after a research cruise which was directed to the study of marine biology and to prevention of the extinction of Avhaling industry in the Falkland Islands sector of the Antarctic.
