REDTJCTTOX URGED. (Per Press Association— Cooyrltrht.’) CHRISTCHURCH, Tills Day. "I think the system of fewer liours of work must eome,” said Mr. F. L. Hutchison, president of the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association, addressing a business men's meeting’ concerning the organisation of a New Zealand Shopping Week in Christchurch.
Mr. Hutchison said: “Work available should be spread over the whole community, so that everyone willing to work or willing to be trained for work should have a chance.’*
