Tho Hon. A. C. Barnes, Director of Agriculture in Fiji, who has been visiting New Zealand, left Auckland by tho Niagara, today for Suva.
Mr J. L. Posher, of the Bank of England, who has. been touring New Zealand, left Auckland by tho Niagara today on route to England.
'Sir Vansittart Bowater, a former Lord Mayor of London, who arrived from/Sydney recently in the course of a health recruiting tour, left Auckland by the Niagara today for Vancouver.
Mi V. N. Hubble, of Auckland assistant town prosecutor, who arrived at Wellington by the Maunganui yesterday after a holiday visit to Tahiti, will reach Auckland today. He is accompanied by Mrs Hubble.
The body of Princess Fnsibaln of Tonga, who died in a private hospital in Sydney on April 21, is being taken to Suva on the Niagara, which arrived at Auckland yesterday. It will be conveyed to Nukualofa, the Tongan seat of Government, and interred in the Tombs of Kings,
-Mr. G. 11, -Mackley, who has been appointed general manager of the New Zealand Railways, is well-known to many residents of North Auckland, having been stationmaster at Kaikohe and Onerahi. While at Kaikohe he took up the cudgels-on behalf of Dalmatians in the district who were in danger of being interned, and in grateful recognition of his successful efforts on their behalf the Dalmatians presented him with a watch.
