WHANGAREI SCHOOL
COMMITTEE NOMINATIONS. ONE INELIGIBLE. Nominations received for the Whangarei School" Committee are as follows: —Messrs. Athol Steadman, Jasper 9 Burfoot, A. W. Cleary, S. M. Simons, E. B. Moore, F. Crosby, D. Baker, O. P. Owen and C. V. Stringer. Another nomination was received on behalf of the Women’s Civic League, but it is understood that the lady concerned lives in Main’s Avenue, outside the school district, and is therefore not eligible for candidature. The I league is being given the opportunity of nominating another candidate. The only member of the sitting commit tee who is not' seeking re-election is Mr R. Allan. Mr Cleary is a new ’candidate. - v
